For more than a decade, Just Kid has applied its core kid research, strategy, and innovation principles and tactics ambitiously in the not-for-profit world, serving many of the nation's most prestigious organizations.

Just Kid has served a diverse group of organizations, ranging from the White House to state Health Departments, from the Center for Disease Control to the Charles Schwab foundation. Wherever we turn, we look at programmatic, "product," and messaging opportunities through a kid's lens, striving to make sure our clients' message or programming is honed to optimize its impact on their kid target audience.

Much of our non-profit strength is rooted in our company's passion to change kids' worlds for the better, an ambition we strive for in everything we do. Our cross-functional research and innovation teams bring their learnings from the consumer marketplace to the non-profit world, and vice-versa, assuring that the most effective high-impact tools and strategies from the for-profit world help shape our thinking for non-profit clients.

Among Just Kid's most notable non-profit the talents is creation of effective solutions to the growing issues surrounding kid health and wellness. In this field Just Kid has played in two distinct arenas, each yielding extremely valuable perspectives and knowledge bases. First, we have become a leading agency resource for the public health community with clients that include the Center For Disease Control, The White House Office of Drug Prevention, numerous state health departments, and a variety of national and international foundations.
Our accomplishments in this field include:

  1. Serving as chief strategic architect for the CDC's billion dollar kid activity initiative
  2. Developing the CDC's new BAM ("Body And Mind") kid interactive health program
  3. And being appointed kid audience segment specialist for the White House's entire billion dollar "The Anti Drug" Campaign.
The Charles Schwab Foundation asked Just Kid to develop a completely new, kid-centric program model supporting and teaching kids with learning disabilities. And, most recently, Just Kid was hired to create, design, and position the new federally funded National Children's Museum which will be constructed in Washington DC next year.

Our new study of Kid Altruism is yet another breakthrough in our non-profit skill set:
  1. It leads the way for corporate and brand involvement with non-profit and community service organizations
  2. It provides a roadmap for non-profits seeking to partner more aggressively and fluidly with marketers seeking to build brand awareness and trust through involvement with non-profits.
  3. And it helps fulfill our goal of changing kids' worlds for the better.
